About CASPolska Association


CASPolska Association was set up in 2004 as a member body of the CASP International Network, an international environment.


CASPolska conducts extensive activities in the entire territory of Poland. The.association also provides services to international clients, with a view to realising institutional goals properly and emphasizing the international character of its operations. Moreover, we collaborate with domestic, foreign and multinational organisations and.institutions which are characterised by a common or a similar profile of activities.

 

The goal of our Association is to support the development of citizens' society in the following realms, inter alia:

  1. health protection and promotion;
  2. science, education, medicine (particularly evidence-based medicine), medical technologies assessment, pharmaceutics, health protection, as well as health service management and administration;
  3. to publicise and protect the idea of human freedom and human rights, citizens' liberties, including activities which facilitate the development of democracy;
  4. to popularize and protect consumers' rights and patient's rights;
  5. to conduct activities for the benefit of European integration and to develop mutual communication and cooperation of societies regarding issues related to.health protection.


As part of activities aiming at the popularisation of the idea of Evidence Based Medicine and Health Technology Assessment, including the development of.education and knowledge relating to this subject, CASPolska Association organises training workshops and conferences devoted to this scientific realm. Furthermore, we participate actively in European Union projects within the framework of the Leonardo Programme, connected, inter alia, with the development of e-learning materials on.EBM teaching.
